MISHAL KARIM
Aged 43 years old and dual citizen of Bangladesh and the United Kingdom. Mishal grew up with a father that was first an international banker, then a diplomat and then ending his career as a global investor in public and private equity opportunities. Mr. Karim’s was educated at the British School of Paris, United World College of South East Asia and Dulwich College where he completed his GCSE and A level examinations. He then graduated with a BSC Economics and Management degree from Royal Holloway, University of London.
In 2004, he relocated to Bangladesh and starting and growing his own businesses, gaining experience, capability and credibility as an investor and entrepreneur. In 2010 he became Vice President and Director of Business Research International Corporation Inc. (BRIC), the family investment company, to make investments in debt and equity in 1987. The company is registered in Panama and currently manages assets worth over USD $400 million. BRIC’s main equity investment is a 21% stake in RENATA Limited (formerly Pfizer Laboratories Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Pfizer Inc. USA.). RENATA has been publicly listed for several decades and is now one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh with a market capitalization of USD 1.3 billion.
Nafis Ehtisham
Mr. Nafis Ehtisham, a well-seasoned professional with an illustrious track record, founded Compact Limited along with his Partner from Partnership to Limited back in March 2017 taking up the role of the Director and Vice-Chairman. Prior to form Limited Company, he started Partnership Business in Construction and Real-State Developing back in 2013 when he was the Consultant & Certified Lead Auditor to audit Garments and other Industrial & Manufacturer Companies in Bangladesh in the area of Building, Fire and Electrical Safety, Occupational Health, Safety & Environment, Social Responsibility Management, Environmental Management System etc.
Mr. Nafis is a highly skilled Management Professional with over 16+ years of extensive work experience in various senior management positions in Managing and Operating renowned Local and Multinational Organizations like Brac University, Grameenphone Ltd., Payza Bangladesh, Global Skills Hub, Payswiff Solutions Ltd etc.
He has attended a host of Courses and Certifications in National and International Organizations like PCB Academy, Singapore, Institute of Business Studies (IBA), Dhaka University, Bureau Veritas, India; British Council Dhaka etc.
Mahfuj Anam Abir
The Director & Chief Executive Officer of Compact Limited is Mr. Mahfuj Anam Abir, who comes with a long and distinguished professional experience of about 10 Years in Marketing, Operations and Management of industries like Construction & Dredging, Real Estate, Power Plant Infrastructure & Electricity Transmission Lines, Customs Clearing & Forwarding, Residential & Industrial Building Management Services, Fire & Electrical Safety Solutions and Fast Moving Consumer Goods.
Engr. ASM Rakibul Hassan
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Compact Limited is Engr. ASM Rakibul Hassan (Rakib), who had been graduated from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) in Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE), comes with a long and distinguished professional experiences of about 16 Years in Project Management, Quality Assurance in Civil Construction for both in residential and industrial sector.
He believes in the speed of work and empowerment to the concerned work group. He encourages his staffs by giving training, personal care and awarding. He upholds the friendly working environment in the company and maintains it through constant monitoring of the work progress.
Syed Nuruzzaman Limon
Mr. Syed Nuruzzaman Limon is the Chief Business Development Officer of Compact Limited. He has a wide experience with multiple industries before joining COMPACT LIMITED. Mr. Limon started his career as an Engineer after completing graduation from Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST). He is also an MBA on Finance from East West University, Dhaka.
Mr. Syed had a long experience on Management, leadership on multiple industry like Software, Telecom, Construction & Dredging.
He also took part in industry trade shows held in countries including US, Singapore, UAE and India and presented the company as well as the country successfully. He also has a strong magnetism over books and journals apart from traveling.
